Hi everyone,

Once every week Navision seems to crash. The server is still functional
except all users get booted off Navision. They can no longer log back in
until the server is re-booted. I'm having difficulty figuring this out. If
someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
Note: I was using version 2 on a different server. Then migrated to a new
server running version 3.6. The problem has been in effect ever since the
migration 2 weeks ago.

Server: P4 64bit
Navision: 3.60.0.11353
O/S: Windows 2003 Server SP1
McAfee ver 8 - patch 11
Backup Exec ver 10

Hi,
It could be windows problem as Navision too.
Test:
- does Navision client connect to server if client is on the same server
- look do there are any network activity from server
- look does Navision port is open
- restart server service
- restart navision service

This will not solve problem but get information about problem point.

Gedas

We have seen cases where removing the dbms.zup file solved this kind of
behavior.

Kind regards,
