And, seriously, can you imagine Apple *ever* doing this? You should
count yourself lucky you get the one badge, never mind multiple badges
in different colours and shapes. See also: `iCal day'.

iCal Day has been history for a while though - the new one updates itself fine.

Indeed. It only took them, oh, six years or something to fix that.
Obviously it was a high priority.
