MS Word, vertical split screen to take advantage of wide screens MS Word should be given a vertical split screen ability, not just horizontal split screen. The latter is traditional thinking, whereas most computers nowadays have wide screens. Some buttons on Toolbar are greyed out Some random buttons on my toolbar (MS-Word 2007) are greyed out--namely, the highlighter button and the select justification buttons. Referencing and page breaks Hi, I have a big document where I am cross-referencing several tables, figures,etc. For reasons I cannot understand Word sometimes add a page break after a corss-reference filed. Word document lost even though it was saved I received a Word document, downloaded it, altered it, saved it, then tried to email it back, but could not find the document. What I think I must have done is clicked on "Open" rather than "Save" when I was downloading it. However, after making my alterations I definitely did save the document.
