From: MZB on 25 Jun 2010 23:43 I'm researching some laptop deals. I am looking for a new laptop. My usage is basically office software, online poker, and general internet/email stuff. Nothing heavy at all. I see a laptop with a 2.13 Intel core i3-330 M processor. This is a Dell 15 and goes for $499.99 I see a Toshiba with an Intel Celeron 900 2.2 Ghz processor for $329--I can get this at my local Best Buy. I am thinking of getting this one. I have been very pleased with My Inspiron 2200 and that has the Celeron chip. Would this be a mistake for my limited purposes? Another Toshiba has a AMD Athlon II Dual Core 2.0 Ghz. processor and it goes for $399. Then there is an Asus with a 2.2 ghz Intel Pentium T4400 for $399.99 All of these have 3 GB memory with 250 GB HD (the Asus is 320 GB HD) They all have Windows 7 Home Premium and 15.6" display.

I have 4GB of RAM and Windows 7/64 bit, both recommended and I do lots of image editing with Photoshop and Photoshop Elements with images as big as 60MB. -- Al Dykes News is something someone wants to suppress, everything else is advertising. - Lord Northcliffe, publisher of the Daily Mail

I like the prices too.
