Any > thoughts on these units? > Thanks Larry I have not had serious issues with Liteon or (Toshiba)-Samsung optical drives. Hitachi-Lucky Gold Star drives are OK too. DVD-RW drives have become commodities at inexpensive prices. If the drive you buy does not include DVD burning software or it includes a crippled version of some "name brand", it is not a problem. Install and use CDBurnerXP and/or ImgBurn, both free and fully functional... Ben Myers
