From: Paul Ibison on 19 Apr 2010 15:16 Not for replication but for DR we did look at it. Thought it fairly simple and although the graphical tools are basic they were quite adequate. Failback is quite simple which I liked. Unlike replication , the data is not accessible at the DR site. In the end if you have a SAN, using SAN replication is IMO simpler though and largely out of the box. Currently we use the SAN to replicate all drives apart from tempdb. Prod and contingency are each single node clusters having the same virtual name. Really simple solution. Cheers, Paul Ibison
