Have the task type as "Fixed Duration" and have "Effort driven" as yes. What does this mean? - Let's say you have entered the duration (5 days) and work (40 hr) of a task, and have applied the above said settings. During the initial resource assignment, project calculates the units of the resources -- John[100%]. If you alter the assignment units of the resource on that task -- John[50%], the "work" column will change -- 20hrs -- as task type is fixed duration, and so the work should naturally change. I have a example for duracion fixed and work fixed My task may be 40 days of duration AND 40 hours of work, then I need that project calculate resource units, filling 40 hours in this 40 day if have disponibility.
