This is with the printer software provided by Epson. we have other software that uses the printer that does not have those options.

I�ll find out wether identical banding patterns can be reproduced on 2 consecutive printouts using identical settings. If so settings may matter. Otherwise the print head mechanism or paper feed may cause the banding. Will be back with my results. Herb

Selecting "einfach" (simple, easy) lets you chose between the choices mentioned above. In addition you still have the choice of different paper qualities. Herb

I don't have a copy of the R200 driver in front of me, but some Epson drivers allow you to go into an advanced mode and open another window with more technical options.
