How do you get scammed, ive never used ebay so I dont know.

As with all auctions, primarily from shill bidders upping the price
artificially. Of course, it is strictly up to you as to whether you bid a
higher price, but you could get the produce for X-dollars less if not for
the fake bidding.
In the case of that other site, they charge you a price for each bid and
that is what you pay, the final bid price is insignificant. But both
auctions are susceptable to shills.

Swoopo isn't at all like ebay. Google it to see how it works.
Basically, it costs you a dollar each time you bid, even if you don't
win the auction.
