Display Control Application Using Spartan FPGA Hi folks, I have been introduced to a project where I have to implement a TFT display controlller on a low-cost FPGA like Spartan-3 or Spartan-6. The controller has to support at least XGA - 1024x768, SXGA - 1280x1024, UXGA - 1600x1200 and WUXGA 1920x1200. I have to chose an appropriate platform now. As I am a... 6 Mar 2010 10:43
ADS1255 (24-bit ADC) Initialisation command sequence Hi friends, I am working on 16 - channel data acquisition project, Silab C8051F310 + ADS1255 + external multiplexer. ADC crystal is 7.643 MHz. SPI clock freq is 1.58 MHz Hardware interface- CS --> permanently tied to ground 3 wire SPI (SCK, MOSI, MISO) DRDY as external interrupt source When I debug t... 9 Mar 2010 03:27
ping to usb interface fails for large packets Hello Sir, am currently working on OMAP34XX series USB OTG controller. The USB OTG controller is configured to operate in peripheral mode which is using GADGET USB stack. Am lost debugging this issue. If any pointers / suggestions are highly appreciated. Timer for every frame ? Hi, In the case of error control, the positive/negative acks play a great role to help the sender in deciding on the retransmission. It seems that the sender has to maintain a timer for every frame in Data Link Layer. But, wouldn't maintaining a timer for every frame a very high overload in high speed connection... 4 Mar 2010 21:22

MicroSD True Power Consumption Hi Everybody, my first thread in this forum. Has anyone experience of measuring microSDHC read power consumption in a real implementation (SPI mode)? Specifically I need to know: Average current drain of a microSD given average read Stream in Kbps, MCU RAM, and given nominal current supply "Iread" and max read S... 5 Mar 2010 09:24
usb device cable is unrecognized by pc hello everyone, my project requires me to use both usb blaster cable and usb device cable. when i program my project using programmer in Quartus II,everything is ok. However, once I run my firmware program at Nios II as Nios II hardware, then my usb device cable becomes unrecognized by my PC immediately. D... 2 Mar 2010 21:28
Avoiding deadlock in malloc Hi, [no idea why I bother including c.realtime as it's deader'n a doornail, there! :< ] I'm thinking of implementing a "wait until satisfied" option in malloc() [call it by some other name soas not to muddy the typical expectations of malloc(3)]. In essence, if malloc() *would* return NULL, it, instead, *bl... 9 Mar 2010 13:27 |
