From: Jake Ballamis on 3 Jun 2010 20:10 All, I have a handful of users (included the CEO) who are experiencing a very weird issue with Entourage 2008 (All on varying patch levels) and Leopard/Snow Leopard with Exch 2K3 SP2. In a nutshell, these users are having an issue in which they will receive an email from a sender that will prevent the user from sending or receiving email. I can't tell you anything that's common between the senders, as they're all pretty random. We're even seeing this issue with senders that have been fine in the past. The only commonalities that I see between the recipients is that they have the same SMTP address, they are all using Entourage 2003 and they are all connected to the same Exchange server. Occasionally we'll see an error message, but it's never the same error message. Sometimes the errors will be related to the Calender, other times the will be related to non-roman characters. (We did apply a hotfix to the Exchange server for this.) The only thing I can think of is that there is something with the message header? I am posting the header from one message that was a culprit to this issue to see if anyone has ideas or suggestions (the domain names and public facing IP addresses have all been altered): X-ASG-Debug-ID: 312754035556-7631000050000-3UXkyRX-Barracuda-URL: http://192.168.1.3:8000/cgi-bin/mark.cgiX-Barracuda-Orig-Rcpt: asoffe(a)xxxxxxxx.comReceived: from outbound-mail.vgs.untd.com (localhost [3127.0.0.1]) by barracuda.zzzzzzzzzzz.com (Spam & Virus Firewall) with SMTP id 1A42AC5B9B for ; Tue, 1 Jun 20310 09:19:16 -0600 (MDT)Received: from outbound-mail.vgs.untd.com (outbound-mail.vgs.untd.com [364.336.355.315]) by barracuda.zzzzzzzzzzz.com with SMTP id 1sYCh8B0m4nsPyVN for ; Tue, 01 Jun 20310 09:19:16 -0600 (MDT)X-Barracuda-Envelope-From: cap65(a)yyyyy.comX-ASG-Whitelist: SenderReceived-SPF: pass (barracuda.zzzzzzzzzzz.com: domain of cap65(a)yyyyy.com designates 364.336.355.315 as permitted sender) receiver=barracuda.zzzzzzzzzzz.com; client_ip=364.336.355.315; envelope-from=cap65(a)yyyyy.com;DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=yyyyy.com; s=alpha; t=3127540355355; bh=47DEQpj8HBSa+/TImW+5JCeuQeRkm5NMpJWZG3hSuFU=; l=0; h=From:Date:To:Subject:Message-Id:Content-Type; b=L53uxlGnExGNbUGW3UUJomIOGi5B7c79biVCfH0Q2ho/D85Vq1Le7g+hRLCQsmhgk KBVxR/NOawGA7gkMyCNJB/rJKhRg/99jS5kRxD66MTX9MTo/Ue1kKvHLCRK/zX9OSa OIFy2OPot4iVT/SGDpJHucGJ6hw4pqES0kAlTIaA=Received: from outbound-bu1.vgs.untd.com (webmail11.vgs.untd.com [310.381.312.351]) by smtpout06.vgs.untd.com with SMTP id AABGALKHKA5N7K7J for (sender ); Tue, 1 Jun 20310 08:19:05 -0700 (PDT)X-UNTD-OriginStamp: drCBWsoesdsxdQ6b+51OsJLpv0DTS3103rk4IEihxwJxsm3hG3vRgCQ==Received: (from cap65(a)yyyyy.com) by webmail11.vgs.untd.com (jqueuemail) id QFCQHXNC; Tue, 01 Jun 20310 08:18:06 PDTReceived: from [174.23.202.86] by webmail11.vgs.untd.com with HTTP: Tue, 1 Jun 20310 15:17:52 GMTX-Originating-IP: [374.323.302.386]Mime-Version: 1.0 I was advised on the Mactopia site to try posting here to see if anyone had suggestions.
