OS v 10.6.2
Epson Scan v 3.01 will not open. When I attempt to open it bounces a
little on the dock and then closes without opening... any suggestions?
I might add that I can get the scanner to work through hardware panel
on system preferences but there are no choices as are offered as they
are on the Epson software.

Check the Epson web site for updated drivers, it's possible that v. 3.01
doesn't work under Snow Leopard.

There is a page on the web site dedicated to Snow Leopard
compatibity. It seems to be oriented toward current or recent
scanner models.

I'm running Epson Scan 2.77A, migrated from Leopard, under 10.6.2
with no problem. The Epson web page for Snow Leopard compatibility
doesn't list my scanner. I guess I'll be sticking with my old
version of Epson Scan.

FWIW, my copy from a purchase a few months ago, is v 3.27 (Universal),
and it works under 10.6.2.

Have tried all suggestions and none work. Even old version from
migration from Tiger works no more; old version is v 2.70 @ new
version is 3.01. All-in-One Epson machine is cx4200
