From: Kue2 on 26 Jan 2010 12:29 Hi Folks Duel booting Windows 7 64... Vista Home 64 & Vista Ultimate 64 When I'm in Vista Home 64, and I try to read the Windows 7 drive, explorer immediately crashes. Same thing happens if I boot to Vista Ultimate, explorer crashes when trying to read the Windows 7 drive. I have no problems reading either Vista drive from within Vista. I do not know how long it's been like this, but at one time I had no problem reading any drive from within Vista. If I boot to Windows 7 I can read all three drives fine. Anyone heard of this problem? Anyone know of a fix? I already googled but have not found an answer. See error msg. below: from the event viewer: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 24/01/2010 3:55:50 PM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: Hugh-PC-Home Description: Faulting application Explorer.EXE, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e02a1e, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e0421d, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x00000000000aef37, process id 0x1090, application start time 0x01ca9d3780ac3666. From: Kue2 on 26 Jan 2010 14:45 Hi Folks Problem Fixed I booted to SAFE MODE on the VISTA 64 partition. I was able to access all drives including the Windows 7 drive. Strange as it is in doing this it seems to have fixed the problem When I booted back to Vista 64 problem was gone..... From: Carlos on 26 Jan 2010 15:02 You see, Hugh, writing in this NG is like expressing your feelings and problems to the shrink. After doing that you find that the solutions lie within yourself. :) Carlos "Kue2" wrote: > Hi Folks > > Problem Fixed > I booted to SAFE MODE on the VISTA 64 partition.
