Don't feel bad, I will. ;-) See, they just don't like non-centric systems anymore (that's not exactly breaking news, is it?), like NNTP or self-sufficient PC systems. So they tell us they have something new instead which is far better. Well ... go and check yourself what they have to offer. The good news is: if you don't like it, you can just stick with what you have. You just have to eventually change some of your newsreader settings and connect to an alternate server as is described at http://www.eternal-september.org/ for instance. MSFT cannot control the NNTP system entirely, so that's something we should preserve and keep alive, IMO. :-)
