From: RScotti on 2 Jul 2006 23:40 Hi, I get this message in my Event Viewer so far it is there 30 times. It's in the IntelDH section, Source is IntelQRTD Event 3 "Error calling OSB method" Can someone tell me what it means? Is this anything to worry about? Have a nice day. R.Scotti

From: Ronnie Vernon MVP on 5 Jul 2006 21:04 There doesn't seem to be a lot of information available for this Event ID 3 Warning. A warning is generally not something that needs immediate action, but it should be addressed as soon as possible. Intel has information on the QRTD (Quick Resume Technology Drivers) here: http://mysearch.intel.com/corporate/default.aspx?q=QRTD&num=10&site=P001_en-US&&&filter=0 This has to be something that was installed by the manufacturer of the PC so I would check with them first. Let us know if you get any results. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "RScotti" <rscotti1(a)verizon.net> wrote in message news:4i7ha253c54rfg9q4up0e8tt8a3tlkmacc(a)4ax.com... > Thanks, it's a help even though they don't know what it is. > >>On Sun, 2 Jul 2006 22:50:18 -0500, "Shenan Stanley" <newshelper(a)gmail.com> wrote: > >>RScotti wrote: >>> I get this message in my Event Viewer so far it is there 30 times. >>> It's in the IntelDH section, Source is IntelQRTD Event 3 "Error >>> calling OSB method" Can someone tell me what it means? >>> Is this anything to worry about? >> >>Cannot help directly - but my searches did come up with this: >>http://phorums.com.au/archive/index.php/t-165944.html >> >>Might lead you someplace. >> >>-- >>Shenan Stanley >> MS-MVP
