If they don't have said facilities then you are using the wrong ISP. > By the way, I've opened a new account at aol.com.au <spit>aol</spiti>? Yeah, right. AOL, the cursed dog of the internet. > Wish me luck! You'll need it with an aol email address. If you want a real email address then spend a few tens of dollars a year to buy yourself a real URL and use your OWN email address.

Because I signed up early I was able to get mail(a)aussiemail.com.au which I thought was a pretty good email address. Around four years back they attempted to move towards paid services so I just let it ride as I didn't need the service. However it apparently didn't come off as it has remained free for those years & still is. They updated the interface & it seems to be a good service as an alternative free email service. I have no idea why you had issues as I have never had any, I have the email set to advise me via POP mail whenever a message arrives, surprisingly it's relatively free of SPAM.

It doesn't exactly break the bank and you have the e-mail address of your choice. Gmail and hotmail are good though for disposable addresses. |
