Wow, what a pain it is to isolate the people in different companies
running on the same Exchange 2007 (SBS 08) installation - this was a lot
easier in 2003.

To make a long story short, in addition to using the Exchange Shell to
create new GAL's and filter recipients, you have to use ADSIEDIT to map
names for each gal/filter in each user as well as each GAL.

Simple mistakes I made the first time - created an address list instead
of a GAL for each company.

Disabled access to the GAL for the other company users without having
their own GAL and setting it as their GAL their AD settings.

From start to finish, since I worked on it over a couple day, as this is
a new setup and not in production yet, it took about 5 hours to get this
working in both OWA, OMA, Outlook 03/07.

They never said it was easy to host multiple orgs on Exchange! Even
under Exchange 2003 tyring to setup Hosted Exchange, as you said, it
may have been a little easier, but there are hoops you have to jump
through. :-)

At least you got through it. :-)
