The XM105 is listed with a 2 week lead time. There are a number of other companies releasing FMC cards, just be sure that the cards support a VADJ of 2.5V and there shouldn't be a problem. 4DSP recently announced a FMC family http://www.przoom.com/news/66794/ Curtiss-Wright also has a number of boards. http://www.cwcembedded.com/0/62/651.html And Xilinx has a number of other boards in pipeline to be released next quarter. http://www.xilinx.com/fmc Ed McGettigan -- Xilinx Inc.

Thanks Ed ! I was hoping to find an alternative distributor for those boards, but I guess I have to deal with Avnet :( Thanks, rudi
From: luudee on 2 Apr 2010 01:30 Hi, so I want ahead and placed the order with Avnet, and they are telling both boards are on back order. No shipping date is given ... See, that's why I hate doing business with Avnet ! Now that they are sole distributor, I suspect things will get even worth ... Cheers, rudi
From: John Adair on 2 Apr 2010 04:14 We are looking at doing a small number of products for the FMC standard. We have reservations that this standard is expensive and inflexible use of FPGA I/O. The first module we are doing is an adaptor module to go from FMC to our own DIL module standard. Several of our standard module range to be used together in a FMC socket giving the user more options than a normal "fixed function" FMC card. You can see an example of our DIL Headers on our Spartan-6 based Drigmorn3 http://www.enterpoint.co.uk/drigmorn/drigmorn3.html. John Adair Enterpoint Ltd.
