From: DerekG on 8 Dec 2009 17:40 I had the same problem on my computer. I did a lot of research and finally found the company's phone number. I spoke to a customer service rep and they were actually very helpful. They helped me get the program off of my computer very easily. Their number is 1-800-831-8940 I hope this helps. -- DerekG ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DerekG's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/162198.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/security-virus/1220646.htm http://forums.techarena.in

I'm sorry, I find techarena.in and other web front-ends to Usenet are more of a DISSERVICE than a service. Just a few days ago a reply from techarena.in was made to a 2 year old thread. As always, when a subject is replied to the subject matter being replied to is NEVER quoted leaving Usenet in the dark. Let those who use web front-ends to Usenet not participate. That will be a "good thing". I was never thrilled about the Microsoft CDO web-front end but, it is 10 times better than techarena.in ! -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html Multi-AV - http://www.pctipp.ch/downloads/dl/35905.asp

Actually you will find many knowledgable and experienced Usenet users completely BLOCK/FILTER Google Groupers posts from being viewed. Google is the #1 source of spam now on Usenet ! User get a FREE Gmail account then creates a FREE Blogger account the creates a FREE Google Groups account the spams said blog Spot to Usenet. I guess you already know why there is NO Win7 Microsoft.* news group. :-( -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html Multi-AV - http://www.pctipp.ch/downloads/dl/35905.asp

Moreover, Usenet itself certainly has/had its own abusers, most of which moved over to the new social networks for their brand of fun. > Google is the #1 source of spam now on Usenet ! > User get a FREE Gmail account then creates a FREE Blogger account the creates a FREE > Google Groups account the spams said blog Spot to Usenet. > > I guess you already know why there is NO Win7 Microsoft.* news group. :-( > > Yeah, in part due to Usenet abusers, and in part to control potential content to valid users. Similar to the original semi-private MS forums, and those completely private that still exist. Its a shame we've come full circle, back to control and moderation, but I can see where and why the Usenet experiment became a failure in many corporation's eyes. -- MEB http://peoplescounsel.org/ref/windows-main.htm Windows Info, Diagnostics, Security, Networking http://peoplescounsel.org The "real world" of Law, Justice, and Government ___--- |
