From: Mitch on 26 Feb 2010 11:27 I've got a user Outlook 2003, who setup up Tasks to remind them of items to be completed, can Outlook show reminders from Just the Calendar, or is there a way to turn off Task reminders? Besides turning the reminder in tasks off? Also, could a shared calendar be setup so that 3 different people could access and receive reminders from that list (and could only 2 people get reminders from that list?) Also can Office 2007 do some form of reminder filtering?
From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 27 Feb 2010 22:15 If reminders are enabled and set on an item, the reminder window will display them. You'll need to not set reminders for tasks. (You can control this from the tools, options, task options dialog) Reminders only fire on your default calendar unless you use Reminder manager (slovaktech.com). No, outlook 2007 doesn't offer reminder filtering. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM How many email accounts are in your main Outlook profile? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=36602 "Mitch" <Mitch(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7C370B85-0EB7-48EE-B474-F7EE8084D4D6(a)microsoft.com... > I've got a user Outlook 2003, who setup up Tasks to remind them of items > to > be completed, can Outlook show reminders from Just the Calendar, or is > there > a way to turn off Task reminders?
