I can't answer that, as I haven't downloaded the bridge yet and so don't know
what to expect.

NNTP servers are becoming fewer, with many ISPs dropping USENET entirely and
others charging extra. Eventually we may not have a choice.

I don't know if the bridge will perform comparably to a real NNTP server.

Use Google groups for all your Usenet needs on the Mac and/or PC.
