I've just looked at Flickr for the first time since getting Firefox 3.6
- now up to v3.6.2.

Here, using Firefox, not one `Show all sizes' link on Flickr works.

`Nothing happens' is what I get when I click on any of 'em.

I've tried turning off all my Firefox extensions - no change in
behaviour.

Flickr works perfectly well here using any other Web browser.

Anyone got any ideas what's up? Is there `some Firefox setting' that I
need to play with?

Cheers,
Rowland.

Thanks for the headsup; I'd found 3.6 to be broken in a bad way for me,
as it wouldn't display Eudora's HTML mails in 'Open in Browser' whereas
3.6.2 does it okay.

So 3.6 had a serious bug, now fixed.

But I've just checked with a few Flickr photos, specifically from
<http://www.flickr.com/photos/loopzilla/> and 'Show all sizes' works
fine.

Vanilla Firefox 3.6.2, no funny settings, iG5, OS 10.4.11.

In case it's a PPC/Intel thing, I also checked using Anne's MBP running
10.5.8, and there it works fine too.

Dig this...

So I poked around in Firefox's preferences.

I thought `Javascript stuff? Let's see...'

Prefs->Contents>Javascript->Advanced

I keep all of those tick boxes empty. So I just filled 'em all up -
allowing scripts to do all those things when previously they had all
been permitted.

I hit `OK'

`Show all sizes' then worked.

So I went back to the prefs, turned `off' everything from `Move or
resize existing windows' to `Change status bar text'.

I hit `OK'

`Show all sizes' then worked.

Gremlins, I told you, bloody bloody gremlins.

Rowland.

I really don't know; all I *do* know is that (I think) I am using the
default installation. Because it just works. I certainly never turned
off java.
