There's the rub, lacky, he wouldn't be able to fix a real computer

I'd rather have a computer that didn't need fixing at all to speak of,
but unfortunately since I'm using Firefox I've got some software from
the flakey side of the track that needs fixing. Only it doesn't come
with instructions...

The rest of it works fine - except when it doesn't, whereupon I
generally find that the repair method involves simply waving a dead
chicken over the ailing machine[1], whereupon it recovers.

[1] There's a list of routine maintenance jobs that, if you execute 'em
one after another, tend to fix most problems. Repairing my Macs is
something that I do, you know. Software hiccups, anyway.
