Stop being a ponce and get a > real computer that you can fix yourself. ;o) <cough> I'd rather have a computer that didn't need fixing at all to speak of, but unfortunately since I'm using Firefox I've got some software from the flakey side of the track that needs fixing. Only it doesn't come with instructions... The rest of it works fine - except when it doesn't, whereupon I generally find that the repair method involves simply waving a dead chicken over the ailing machine[1], whereupon it recovers. Rowland. [1] There's a list of routine maintenance jobs that, if you execute 'em one after another, tend to fix most problems. Repairing my Macs is something that I do, you know. Software hiccups, anyway. -- Remove the animal for email address: rowland.mcdonnell(a)dog.physics.org Sorry - the spam got to me http://www.mag-uk.org http://www.bmf.co.uk UK biker?
