From: Sean Scheffelmaier on 2 May 2010 02:40 Does folder replication only replicate My Documents? I was curious if I could replicate all my personal folders of my Windows 7 profile. Any thoughts? -- Sean ***The only easy day was yesterday***
From: Cliff Galiher - MVP on 2 May 2010 06:20 Folder redirection in SBS works the same way it does with Windows 2003 Standard. The wizard just creates a gorup policy behind the scenes. You can create your own group policy to redirect other folders. With that said, 2003 only supports a limited number of user folders that can be redirected, so you won't be able to redirect all of your Win7 user folders. Windows Server 2008 (and thus SBS 2008 by proxy, has support for more folders. -Cliff "Sean Scheffelmaier" <seanscheffelmaier(a)hotmail.com> wrote in message news:1532000F-04E2-44FF-9ECF-39C91788A16C(a)microsoft.com... > Does folder replication only replicate My Documents? Thanks for the info. I like the idea of having my files on another machine as I have a tendency to *break* my workstation. -- Sean ***The only easy day was yesterday*** "Cliff Galiher - MVP" <cgaliher(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:OL8tZEe6KHA.3184(a)TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Folder redirection in SBS works the same way it does with Windows 2003 > Standard.
