From: switt on 12 Mar 2010 10:01 I have a documente with 11 x 17 pages (foldouts) and I want to number them as two pages (i.e., 3/4) and then continue on the next page with 5. How do I do this?
From: Doug Robbins - Word MVP on 12 Mar 2010 17:44 Assuming that you have Section Breaks either side of the 11 x 17 page, unlink the header/footer in that Section from that in the previous Section and in the following Section, unlink them from the header footer in the 11 x 17 Section. In the header/footer of the 11 x 17 Section, insert a { PAGE } field where you want the 3 to appear and where you want the 4 to appear, insert the following field construction { = { PAGE } + 1 } Then in the next Section (where you want the page numbering to start from 5, either via the Format Page Number dialog, set the starting number to 5 and use a { PAGE } field, or insert the following field construction { = { PAGE } + 2 } You must use Ctrl+F9 to insert each pair of field delimiters { } and you use Alt+F9 to toggle off their display. -- Hope this helps.
