Hi POKO;

Before you dump TBird, check out
<http://kb.mozillazine.org/Using_Gmail_with_Thunderbird_and_Mozilla_Suite>.
I have a couple of gmail accounts I pipe through TBird. Works a treat.

Let me know if I can help.

I use Thunderbird to read Gmail

It only took a few minutes to setup

what leads you to believe it won't work?

Thank you! The non-standard ports and SSL are what usually trip people
up.

Been using GMail POP since the beginning, really like it. It's not
evil at all. ;)

Tanks Craig - I used the Outlook info from their faq page and used it in
Thunderbird and its now running. Next problem is my Poptray app
(frontend to e-mail client) and I don't know whether to point it a
omniglobe or gmail.
Windows 3.1 was so much easier,
