Iso to CD burner!
After trying various utils which were supposed to be able to extract an iso CD image back onto a CD and wasting around 18 CD's, all of which turned out to be blank of any files, I finally tried ImgBurn which succeeded in reproducing a usable CD. It worked at the first attempt, why the others failed I don't know... 18 Jun 2010 23:25
Homebank: personal accounting s/w
Certainly a well-established s/w but, last I asked in February, it didn't seem anyone used it. It's free/open source and cross-platform. Has a pretty compelling story: first developed on amigas 15 years ago, now on all major platforms and in 50-some-odd languages. HomeBank 4.3 released june 18th, 2010... 20 Jun 2010 14:32

[FFx add-on] HTTPS Everywhere (from the EFF)
Haven't tried it... yet. The EFF has announced the availability of a new Firefox add-on called HTTPS Everywhere. As the name implies, it forces the browser to use a secure connection when the user visits a supported Web site. Although many Web sites support SSL, it isn't always used by default, wh... 18 Jun 2010 14:37
Bear Bottoms Is A Cannibal
Bear Bottoms has always scavenged in dumps; indeed, my understanding is that Bear Bottoms has been known to hunt down humans for food with far greater frequency than other bears. I’ve come face-to-face with Bear Bottoms three times on the Internet and thank God he's been more afraid than I was. ... 18 Jun 2010 11:17

FormBuilder: build html forms
This is more a web tool but it's pretty intriguing. Haven't tried it but, it's F/OSS & cross-platform FormBuilder is an object-oriented PHP class for building HTML forms.
