In rectangle ABCD, point R is on BC, point T is on AD, and RT is
parallel to AB and to CD. Point S is on AB, and quadrilateral SRDT
has an area of 24. How does one determine the area of rectangle
ABCD? Thanks.

if you take the area of RTD and the area of RST (base*height/2) than you
find that the area of the rectangle is double of the area of DCBA, thus 48
