I tried it (chrome) when I needed some traffic info from traffic England,The
map does not work with Linux Firefox some mickysoft proprietary aspx page .

Just tried both Firefox and google both boot in no time and about the same
as each other.

I prefer Firefox but is that because it is what I am used to ?

There are also people who say everything is great if it's new and shiny.
It's the "newest gadget / latest release" mob. Don't underestimate their
numbers, even in te Linux community.

Besides, do we need another browser, especially one from a group that has
massive power in the field of the web? How long before we see web pages with
specific functions, only available in Chrome? We've all seen MS do it in the
past.

.... and if it combine's other functions into the browser; I have an email
client, an FTP client, a chat client, a p2p client, etc...
They each do their job very well, and I get to choose them individually.

Any time things appear to be going better, you have overlooked
something.

There's a message in there: IF you feed the troll, feed him his own dogshit.

I like that Chrome allows me to customize the CNN homepage to my
location and automatically displays my local news and weather on the
MSNBC homepage. I can't get them to work in Firefox no matter what I do.

I like Adblock Plus and hope something like it comes along for Chrome.
