From: JohnB on 10 Jun 2010 07:44 Using 10.5.8 and Firefox 3.6.3 - the google.co.uk homepage is displaying a horrid background picture. It says to change it go to your google account and bla, bla, bla. However I can't log into the account it just recycles the page after inputting the password. I have cleared cache etc but still the same. Now, Safari 5 does not display that image and I can log into my account just fine and the homepage is the same familar clean" white background. Anyone else seeing this ? Any ideas why - and can offer any solutions - apart from "use Safari" of course. Regards -- JohnB

In Safari 5 it comes up in normal colours, but in Russian. Fortunately, if you avoid their home page, for instance by originating the search in a widget, which I always do anyway, you avoid all the funny-ha-ha. -- Peter
