Someone pretending to be Lew? Of course Samba and NFS are network protocols. Ext2 drivers for Windows read physical disks.

Write a script that "reads the pipe and executes the contents sending the output to SpecialRetrnFile" inside a loop. The read will wait until data is available. You have to send commands to the pipe by opening it write-only - that means you can't open it in a text editor - so you'd need to either use redirection echo 'ls /usr/*' > mypipe or create a new file in a text editor and then save it as mypipe. Yes. His name is Roger Maynard. He's using Lew's name for posting pro-MICROS~1 drivel in GNU/Linux newsgroups, and he's using two different domains in his "e-mail address" field. I already had the other one in my killfile, but now I can add the second one as well. -- *Aragorn* (registered GNU/Linux user #223157)

Keep in mind that poor old Roger is doing this because he failed to renew the domain 'justlinux.ca'. The Canadian registrar gave him plenty of time to renew it; when he didn't, it went up for sale. Lew Pitcher bought it, and told Roger that the domain was his, and to not use that domain anymore. Roger threw a little temper tantrum, and is now trying to discredit Lew at any point. All of the details of Roger getting it handed to him are the URL below: http://groups.google.com/group/alt.os.linux.slackware/browse_frm/thread/86f42a0cecd8bb5c# Read, and enjoy. I know I did.
