I'm trying to upgrade to OS 2.09 1) Using the HP49G+/50g connectivity kit: ***** instructions here incomplete***** I should have looked a little further.... 2) Using a SD card Copy the files: 4950_92.bin and update.scp that are in the zip archive on a SD card formatted in using the FAT format (not FAT32). On the calculator, Press and hold the + and - Button and press on the RESET button using a paper clip or other blunt object. ok?

John's replies are an alternative method that uses a (front side) series of key-sequences to reset the calculator without having to use of a paperclip. hth, mk
