After about 45 minutes of getting stuck in a "press X for whatever" phone loop and 3 transfers, I finally got one ordered from HP. On the bright side all of the representatives spoke understandable English. The total cost including shipping is $10.70 and it's supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday. All said and done, I guess it was worth the wait... :-) Thanks for your help. I had forgotten that there even was such a thing as a Tablet PC version of Windows. The notebook doesn't have a CD/DVD ROM built in, but there was a new external one that she bought with it. I sure hope THAT works! I'll keep you posted. -- --- Everybody has a right to my opinion. ---
