Motherboard with SATA3 and USB3

Storage manager for Intel G33 (ICH9R)
It's about the HP m9088hk again. Should I use Rapid Storage Manager or the older Matrix Storage Manager? DVD burned at 8x by 24x burner not readable by older DVD burners
The Maxell DVD-R (8x) was burned by LG GH24-NS50. It's not readable by LG H62L nor older LG 4167B!!! Is this normal?
