Hello,
I've been experiencing the problem reported recently of
AU notifying me of updates available, but when I select them
and choose download, the little shield disappears and nothing
further happends. I guess there are many under lying causes.
Here's what I found in the log:

Extended error for reported error 80246008 = 8007045b
OS Version = 5.1.2600.2.0.65792
Failed to load reporting information from WMI with hr = 8007045b.


Please advise.
