Usually there are 1 song for every chapter on Music DVD (Concert)
So you going to need
DVD Decrypter to Demux the audio 1 song for every chapter,
those files are usually in the AC3 sound format.
and a AC3 to MP3 converter like BeSweet (BeLight)

I ripped with VLC, joined with audacity(VLC rips one mp3 per
vob file), and separated the various tracks with the audacity
analyse-silence finder,(which needed a bit of tweaking).
Lost a bit of quality, as it involved double
decoding-encoding, Recovered 19 tracks from the first DVD.
Might try MP3 Cutter Plus on the next one. Sounds faster. But
as it was a BB suggestion, I'll probably quarantine it for a couple of
months, just in case it's malware. :)

There are a few ways to get the audio track, instead of VLC, Super(c)
does the same. But another way, maybe slower but it saves loading into
audacity.

Avidemux,

load the first .vob and it asks if you want to append the rest of them -
up to you.
Set the audio output to mp3 and tweak the gain in the filters to
counteract low volume from DVD ac3 audio; gain=manual & value=8 works.
Set the start and end points of a track, cuts out unwanted applause or
commentary.
Go to the Audio Menu and Save, give the track a name <something.mp3> then
on to the next one.
