From: Slacker on 2 Apr 2010 16:08 I created an encrypted disk image (SL 10.6.3) that I no longer need and want to delete-- but can't see how to do that. Dragging it to trash of course unmounts it-- rather than deletes it-- and once it's unmounted, it doesn't show in the Finder window. I can see it in the left pane in the Disk Utility-- but don't see any delete option there. Suggestions?

So delete the file you double-click to access it - the one you open to make the virtual drive appear on the desktop). -- Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me. If you don't know where it exists, click the blue info button at top of Disk Utility pane and the path to it will be shown. For example it might be at /Users/you/something.dmg. Go there and you will see it. Select it and command delete it or smply drag it to trash (when it is unmounted) -- dorayme
