If I have the top part as a script, then I can't have a function later
on - it's not allowed. So you can either copy that bottom function in-
line wherever it's called and get rid of the first "function test"
line and that will leave the variables remaining in the workspace, OR
you can set a breakpoint just before the function exits and examine
your variables then.
