Right about now you should get about 1,100,000 results. All well and good. 25 pictures related to the Stadium appear, of various sizes. Now my question is: HOW the HECK do you go about seeing the remaining 1,099,974 of them?! There's NO FRICKIN "Next" arrow or button at the bottom! DUH!! -CC

On other things, Google might stop at 1000 or whatever, some small number. It is presumably the expense of tracking what results you've already seen, that prevents them from going to an infinite depth. There were similar kinds of limits on the USENET searches as well, but the USENET article search function is now so busted, as to be useless. And one other, non-Google search engine, has turned off the ability to put double quotes around search strings, which has kinda neutered it as well. So search out there now, is pretty cheesy and useless. The era of useful search engines, has ended. Paul

As far as my "other 1 million images" comment goes - it was being sarcastic. The point is, Google relaunched a revamped image page with some major glitches in it.
