Sorry, I don't know of any way to do that with IZArc unless using some
kind of scripting language and Scheduled Tasks. I've never had to use an
archiving program for such a thing. There is a command line addon for
IZArc though.

Have a look at the commandline add-on for IZArch
http://www.izarc.org/izarccl.html
and consider running your task from a scheduled batch file.

Sounds like that will do what I need, if not I will try the 7-zip option.
Using a scheduled batch file was already in the plan and I already could
automate the FTP, just needed to know about automating the archinve
creation. Thanks to all.
