Open the Table Properties dialog (there's a button for it in the Table group
of the contextual Table Tools | Layout tab, but you should also be able to
right-click anywhere in the table and find that on the context menu;
unfortunately, you can no longer get to it by double-clicking the table
handle).

On the Table tab of the dialog, check the box for "Preferred width," set
"Measure in" to "Percent," and enter 100%.

Thanks. After much hunting around in Help, I still can't figure out
how to set the table width to 100%. Can someone help?
