In inno installer - been uisng it for years, how does one set the
"install for one user or all users" when using XP.

Also we have an issue with users being restricted - any way of getting
the installer to overcome various it dept's restrictions ?

Sorry Richard, I have no idea.

I only use Install Shield (which can do this) but it can only be a
matter of where you place the registry keys. There is no special magic
beyond this. For instance, under c:\Documents and Settings you will see
the users on the machine. Assuming you have appropriate rights, you can
install your application data keys and desktop icons into a specific
user or the All Users profile. If Inno allows you to manipulate where
the registry keys are written, this is how you might go about doing it.

If the user doing the installation has admin priviledges then you can put it
where you like in the registry (you only need to provide a checkbox) or default
to single user if they're not the admin.
