For the last week I have been trying to install a number of Office 2007
updates which are all failing with the above error code. I have run the
Windows Genuine Tests for both Windows and Office - the latter identified 2
missing ActiveX components which are now installed but the updates are still
failing.

My operating system is XP Pro SP2. I have Office 2007 and also have Access
2003 and Excel 2003 installed (which I need for supporting clients).

Any suggestions or do I have to wait for Office 2007 SP1?
