The number shown on my O2 PAYG iPhone as "My Number" in Settings>Phone
and at the top of Phone>Contacts is not in fact my number. I suspect
this is because I transferred my number from another mobile when I
bought it. Is there some way to correct it?

Oh yes, I didn't notice that. And I can cut-and-paste it from my
contact list.
