No configuration or setup required with Orange customer services. Without a UMA bundle (only available with Orange broadband I think) all calls will be charged as per a normal call on the Orange network, so will come from inclusive mins if you have them.

A subscription to Orange braodband is not required to use Unique. All you need is a UMA handset and a Wifi network. I'm not sure weather it works for PAYG customers, but certainly does for pay monthly. Regards Jon
