I still believe they spoilt this track from it's original. It may have been less challenging, but it was one of those nice 'classic' tracks. > I -hate- Ferrari. Cheating sods and have been for years. In another group, it was shown that up until that silly overtake, there was only a few thousands of a second between them, as an average time per lap. Mind you, with Todt in charge of the FIA now, I doubt much will come of a hearing. -- Andy Hewitt <http://web.me.com/andrewhewitt1/>

Yep, there's another thing that should never have been allowed to happen: he presided over their sneaky, cheating years and is now in charge of judging them. Bet the overpriced FIAT outfit get off scott free. Cheers, Ian

There may only have been thousandths in it but the only reason Alonso was behind Massa was because Vettel was so desperate to block Alonso he forgot that he was driving onto the dirty line and gave Massa a clear run on the clean track. If it weren't for that Alonso would have led the whole race and people would be moaning about it being a 'boring parade' a la Schumacher years. I don't understand why the FIA even try to ban team orders: the drivers work for the team, not the other way around. Tough if you don't like it. At least they didn't order Massa to crash! -- Bruce Horrocks Surrey England (bruce at scorecrow dot com)

Maybe so, but if Alonso reckons he's championship material this year and so much faster, then he should have been fine for overtaking then. Others were managing it. > I don't understand why the FIA even try to ban team orders: the > drivers work for the team, not the other way around. Tough if you > don't like it. At least they didn't order Massa to crash! Agreed and it used to be much more explicit, but then again it also used to be legal. It isn't now, that was a blatant team order and so they're cheating. Again. Cheers, Ian
