Does anyone know if you are able to 'gift' an app to someone else like you
can with music. I am using the UK store in case that makes a difference.

I had an iTunes gift card for Christmas. It just appears as credit on
your account and you can buy what you want with it.

I didn't mean using a gift card. When you are on the store and purchasing
music you can also give it to someone as a gift.
