Hi all,

Have been using my iPhone 3G for a year no problems. My contacs are
synced through mobile me and work fine.

I have about six email addresses on my iPhone. Three are gmail.

I want to have gmail pushed to my iphone. But it seems I have to
install Google Syc ? and I lose all of my iTunes contacts ?

Is this correct ?

When you configure Gmail push, you're setting up an exchange mail
account. You can choose to sync mail or contacts or calendar or all
three. If you want to retain mobile me contacts, then when you setup
gmail push, just untick the contacts sync.
If you're using Gmail then you can sync OS X Address Book and iCal to
gmail's cloud, and then do away with Mobile Me completely...

Mmm that would be good. Thanks for that Ric.

Q: did I read somewhere that the iPhone (3G) only allows one IMAP
account at a time ?

I don't think it only allows one IMAP account, but I'm _fairly_ sure it only
allows one Exchange account.

Correct on both points.

You can add a second Exchange account if you jailbreak, mind you.
