From: Meerkat1 on 26 Feb 2010 13:07 The Itunes faq says that rented movies can be watched on a TV through an Apple TV. Does this mean that I can't rent a movie and watch it on my TV which is connected to a MacBook Pro through its DVI and sound ports? Thanks -- Meerkat1

That'd only partially answer the question. Another question I'd want to know is: What resolution would you have via a dl to the MBP. It may well be less than that which would be downloaded onto the AppleTV. -- john mcwilliams

[Which is why I prefer watching on my MBP if I'm watching alone.]

[Which is why I prefer watching on my MBP if I'm > watching alone.] I love my MBP, but not for movies. My HD TVs are 1920 x 1080, but it's not just the number of pixels that count in my book. -- john mcwilliams |
