This position is full time permanent, no contracting. The successful candidate will work within the eMedia group on a team with other professionals knowledgeable in all of the Macromedia (Adobe) tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and participating in the development of eLearning projects large and small. The successful candidate's primary focus will be Authorware development but will also call for working with Flash and other tools as well as working with Sprint Nextel internal customer liaisons, instructional designers, delivery managers, trainers, and others. We are looking for a pro, an expert, someone with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on Authorware development experience. Experience with Flash is an asset, along with one of the typical graphic editing packages. Some other things we're looking for include, but are not limited to, the following: ? scripting / variables and functions / lists ? using U32s, DLLs and Xtras ? working with external content such as HTML, PDF, Flash, etc. ? database connectivity via ASP, Cold Fusion, etc. ? XML ? delivery via Internet, Intranet, and CD ? managing thousands of external assets ? AICC / SCORM / LMS / LCMS The candidate should be comfortable with ? requirements gathering and scope definition ? customer liaison ? coding ? testing ? deployment ? troubleshooting/support. The Designer must have proficiency with Macromedia Authorware to include construction and use of templates and models, Authorware scripting, use of Xtras, U32s and DLLs, calling and maintaining external content and interacting with third party applications such as Flash, Acrobat and HTML. Multi-media development for internet and intranet delivery. The successful candidate must have the proven ability of integrating interactive multi-media materials with back-end system such as learning management and CGI applications. The candidate must have the ability to lead and carry out project assignments with limited guidance and to meet demanding project deadlines. Candidate should have knowledge and experience working with Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver and knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, VB Script, ASP or Cold Fusion and understanding of AICC and SCORM. Computer Science Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent experience is preferred. The Graphic Design job family develops and designs the aesthetics, visual design and/or layout of product artwork, component design, marketing materials, packaging and/or training materials.
